这件鎏金供碗，器物较小，是典型的供器，底足为玉璧底，中间凹陷的圆形似玉璧的孔，而古代玉璧是礼天之器，在古代也认为天是圆的，而这瀚海的大宇宙谁又能说它不是圆的呢，故而此碗为礼器，底部中心一个清字，代表着清代，碗面为龙凤呈祥浅浮雕纹，寓意吉祥，在自然光线下为漫反射光泽，毫无贼光，整体原光包浆，十分耐赏。

火法鎏金：将黄金溶于汞中，为成浆糊状的金汞合金，用金汞合金均匀地涂到干净的金属器物表面，加热使汞挥发，黄金与金属表面固结，形成光亮的金黄色镀层，这叫火法镀金。

碗内一个福字，鏨刻十分精美，从碗璧来看，十分圆整，细薄，体现着极高的工艺水准，而古人以圆为天，中心刻一福字，有着福星高照的寓意。

龙凤呈祥寓意：“龙凤呈祥”出自《孔丛子·记问》：“天子布德，将致太平，则麟凤龟龙先为之呈祥。”从传统的寓意来说，龙有喜水、好飞、通天、善变、灵异、征瑞、兆祸、示威等神性。凤有喜火、向阳、秉德、兆瑞、崇高、尚洁、示美、喻情等神性。神性的互补和对应，使龙和凤走到了一起：一个是众兽之君，一个是百鸟之王；一个变化飞腾而灵异，一个高雅美善而祥瑞；两者之间的美好的互助合作关系建立起来，便“龙凤呈祥”了。“龙凤呈祥”吉祥物寓意着会带来一派祥和之气！
